The Senate proceeded to consider, as in the Committee of the Whole, the bill (S. 392) to set apart a certain tract of land lying near the head-waters of the Yellowstone River as a public park; and The amendments reported by the Committee on Public Lands having been agreed to, the bill was reported to the Senate, and the amendments were concurred in. Ordered, That the bill be engrossed and read a third time. The said bill was read the third time. Resolved, That it pass, and that the title thereof be as aforesaid. Ordered, That the Secretary request the concurrance of the House of Representatives therein. |
