Mammoth Bison "Poop"

So where'd it go? Couple of weeks ago, I watched a small bison herd, move across the lawn, on the Mammoth Cam, right where the tables are now. They left a number of "calling cards" on the grass. Now the tables have appeared and the poop has disappeared along with the snow. Thought that natural stuff was supposed to stay put and biodegrade naturally or did the Park Service want to make sure the area by the Visitor Center was nice and tidy when they put out the tables for the coming summer crowds? Just wondering.
