Great gray is back at usual place. I missed him but many others didn't. Buffalo calves are dropping. Wolves very common and visible. Cranes are dancing nd nesting. Floating island still ice covered but snow line is about 800 fet higher than Mammoth.
Black bears common. Birds? Just two all day. Bluebird vanguard. No migration yet.
And speaking of NO: no snow, no green, no flowers, lots of frost, no flood stage, four antelope,
And speaking of lots of: Fill trucks driving way above the speed limit rolling through like the Big Red One of WWII. Roosevelt to Tower is a construction mess. Pity
Drought will be in the offering this year unless that is cut by the budget crunch.
I forgot my mouse on this first trip into the Park from my house in Bozeman and typing is a pain and makes me feel physically impaired so for now
