The real rustic cabins are at Roosevelt and you can find some info on the link below. There are other cabins at Old Faithful, Mammoth, and Canyon that are semi-rustic meaning no bathrooms. You will have to go thru Xanterra and you will have a hard time getting a reservation. With that being said, what you will have to do is call them each morning around 8:00 am or so and check for any cancelled reservations. I did that and was able to get the days and places I wanted but you have to just do it each day. Folks change plans and cancel reservations every day. So good luck and have a great trip to the park. Also, we stayed at the rustic cabins at Roosevelt and Old Faithful and loved them and I would recommend that you try to get a day or two at both places and enjoy each different area while there instead of driving the loops each day.
