east end of Lamar valley, where the creek and river join.
The large parking area there is "the hitching post" and the one just around the corner from that is "the foot bridge."
The confluence, hitching post, and foot bridge, are all at the base of Druid Peak.
So, while not truly interchangeable, all of those terms refer to the same general one mile area.
