Yesterday's storm didn't amount to much. A bit more rain throughout the night, but
no problem. Cloudy and threats of rain this morning, but ya take whatcha get up
here.
In 4 days; 4 different Grizzlys. Later last evening, last light, big Boar in the flats north
of Oxbow. I guess they've extended the safe viewing range on bears to 1/2 mile ;-))
Called me back to a safe distance from what, with 20 x 70 binocs, was barely a dot.
Taking the job a bit too serious son.........
Elk seen in larger numbers each day, including frisky behavior amoung the yearling
and sub adults cows. The wolves have spared a few for the viewing public, but don't
tell the anti crowd. They seem happy with their fairy tales.
Christian Pond is still but a puddle but yesterday witnessed a pair of Pelicans on the
distant shore. Must be some moisture over that way or they would be elsewhere.
Crowds have not shown in the expected numbers yet, but no broken hearts here.
This is a tough job being here, but like they say..... someone had to do it.
