Question about road work near South Entrance

I think I remember a post regarding this, but I can't find it, so here's my question. I'm travelling with my mom next month from Flaming Gorge in northern Utah to Roosevelt. The shortest route is through the south entrance to Yellowstone. Does anyone have any information about road work between Jackson WY and Yellowstone? Any opinions about delays between Canyon and Roosevelt? We have reservations at the Rosie cookout and it sure would be disappointing to be late.
