The tram ride to Rendezvous Peak is one of my favorite things to do in the Tetons; were my foot in better shape a great option would have been to ride up and walk 7.2 miles down, but that didn't happen this year (maybe next!?). Friend KenT was supposed to meet us but got side-tracked by a scientific conference on geology at Old Faithful, so, sad to report, while I happen to know he had a great time at the conference, he missed a fabulous "tram-op." The old tram has been replaced by a shiny and much more capacious new car, with all new Swiss mechanics, and is it every beautiful! Here it comes to pick us up at Teton Village.
