I vaguely recall the woman who had the snag fall on her had some broken bones, but was released within a week or so. She's lucky she wasn't killed, since snags have killed several people in the park.

I'm not familiar with the other incident, but I know a couple of the rangers at Canyon. I'll e-mail one of them and see if they know anything about it.
