Entries Sought for 11th Annual Yellowstone Fall Photo Festival

Amateur and professional photographers are again being invited to share some of their favorite images of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

The Annual Fall Photo Festival cosponsored by the National Park Service and the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center is now in its eleventh year.

The event will be held Tuesday evening, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center.

The festival is not a contest, and no prizes are awarded. Rather, it provides an opportunity for both amateur and professional photographers to gather together in person to and spend no more than 5 minutes narrating up to 25 of their favorite digital images with others who share their passion for photography.

Photographers are encouraged to share tips on their photo techniques. Photos which originated within Yellowstone, Grand Teton, or the Rockefeller Parkway must have been taken in accordance with all park regulations.

Interested photographers must register in advance no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 23 by contacting Rich Jehle at 307-344-2754 or 307-344-2840, or by email at rich_jehle@nps.gov.
