I personally liked the lighter look of front desk and sun room. The furniture is more comfortable, but some upholstery looks kind of old-fashioned to me. I liked the etchings on glass above the front desk, all gone now, but I guess the dark wood has to blend in with the other changes. Besides the new bar, I like the new bell desk and like where they put the elevator and that it's where it is and not in hallway or more visible. I doubt any functional changes were made behind front desk. I understand there will be some changes to offices and the deli yet. Will be interesting to find out if they'll straighten out the uneven hall floors on 2nd & 3rd floors of old section.
