And three inches of powder snow overnight. Rough-legged hawks abound and yesterday a flock (covey?) of Gray partridge appeared. Rabbits tolerate the winter well and generally gather under the vehicles after we run the engines for a while. (That's our treat for them).

Still no snowy owl sightings but red-polls are appearing and bald and golden eagles are common. Today we hope for blue sky and no wind.

Bozeman, it ain't Paradise Valley but it is right up there next to it. Pun intended
