There has been a nest in the immediate area for at least the last 100 years or so. Sam Eagle, the founder of Eagle's Store in West, reported seeing it in use in the early 1900s. For the last couple of years Canada Geese have been seen and photographed using it, but I do not know if they managed to fledge goslings.
