As I always do I visit "cultural" (human-made) locations along with the natural ones, and try to learn something about them while I'm at it. Parkitecture interests me and in some cases is important to the history of the parks.

I've quite often been to the National Wildlife Art Museum at the northern-most end of the town of Jackson, and would recommend it as a must-see to anyone. Both the permanent and the temporary exhibits within are always interesting and inspiring, and you never know whom you'll encounter there. In 2001 I got to personally thank Jane Goodall for all amazing good she's done the world. She partners with Jackson photographer Thomas Mangelsen's efforts in support of the Cougar Fund, so she's not just about chimpanzees on the other side of the world. What a great serendipitous experience that was!
