We eventually entered Yellowstone through the Northeast Entrance and made our way across the "top" of the park. Only real stop we made along the road was at Undine Falls--to get to Bozeman much before dark we were going to have to hoof it a bit. Dinner was at the Mammoth Grill, then on the way down the road from Mammoth to Gardiner we spotted several bighorn sheep on the cliffs above the road. This guy is pretty scraggly, but even though we saw a few others during the rest of the trip in the same area, this was the only one we got any shots of. ("We" being Lissa for this picture.)
Through Gardiner, north to Livingston, then west to Bozeman. We got checked into the motel, I got the girls put to bed, and then around 11:00 headed out to the airport. Mom did finally get in a little before midnight--we headed back to the motel and sacked out as well.
