in the re-intro of the wolves in '95, I learned rather quickly to not become attached to a certain animal. Not healthy.
But I must admit, this bear family is hard not to be enamored with. Next year, I feel, will be a telling time for 399, her offspring and maybe the grizzly population in general. With de-listing efforts underway and an unstable population (IMO) this could be the last of the boom years for grizzly sightings in GTNP.
I'll live with it, but it will be a long time before I forget THIS year!
