Big glass and lots of people at the first major pullout in Lamar (sorry, I'm bad a P/O names), watching, of all things, four antlerless bull moose resting in the snow. With binocs I could see nubbins where antlers had been and will be again in a few months.
Devilishly hard to photograph far-away dark brown bodies against the sunny snow, but at least you can tell they're moose.
They were apparently helicopter airlifted into position because none of them had tracks leading up to their beds. Either that or the snow was really hard-crusted.
