Confluence of Hellroaring Creek & the Yellowstone River...taken some years ago but I suspect it's still just as beautiful today. The downside for some is the last uphill slog to get back to the trail head parking lot.

As BP said, the trek across the sage is mostly shadeless, so take all precautions and LOTS of water.

When we reached this spot two guys were camped there and enjoying the fishing. With their gear up on a bear-pole. Quite worth the walk in and out!
