Hello, I am planning a trip to Yellowstone June 9th to the 15th. I want to spend 4 nights at Lonesomehurst campground which is located by the West Yellowstone entrance. On our way home ( Cottonwood Arizona) I wanted to stop in Jackson Hole for 2 nights. Possibly camping there as well. I need help planning this trip since I haven't been there since I was a little girl. Is the west entrance the best place to stay? The parks inside had a lot of restrictions in the sites that's why we are staying outside. Also how far is west Yellowstone to Jackson Hole? Best place to camp in Jackson Hole? anything we shouldn't miss? any other info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
