from LeHardy rapids. WY G&F where netting them for their hatchery, saw some very nice ones come out. Twas 2003. But nothing to match a big Laker.
Always had good luck flyfishing from the beach in June along Gull PT Drive.
Gill nets are pretty indiscriminant on what they take, even with correctly size nets. Trap nets are like a corral used to capture horses or cattle. The advantage to the fish is they are not physically entangled in the net, giving a better chance of survival if released.
