Bobcats hunting waterfowl along the Madison! Best time is mid-January to mid-February. If you can manage it, take one coach tour in from West (usually go as far as Kepler) and one in from Mammoth that takes you at least as far as Canyon, where we watched otters from Chittenden Bridge this winter. The place is very different and magical in its own way when cloaked in snow!
