Please add your comments, suggestions, warnings, anything! I've read and researched as much as I can but I want to be as knowledgeable and prepared as possible.

Our family consists of my husband, myself, and our five kids (14-1). The 3 and 1-year-olds will complicate some things I'm sure. We're from California. We'll be meeting my in-laws in West Yellowstone. They are healthy and active and will be able to handle anything my little guys can. Here it is:

SATURDAY- Arrival Day
Check in to resort and visit Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.

SUNDAY- Madison & Norris Areas
Back to the Discovery Center for a few hours, then to the park!
Harlequin Lake hike
Gibbons Falls
Artist Paintpots hike
Norris Geyser Basin Museum and hikes
Picnic dinner in Gibbons Meadow
Maybe Firehole Falls?

MONDAY- Old Faithful Area
Old Faithful, Visitors Center, Inn, picnic lunch
Grand Prismatic
Lone Star Geyser hike
Kepler Cascades
Back to Old Faithful for sunset
Dinner at Snow Lodge Geyser Grill

TUESDAY- Canyon Area
Canyon Visitors Center
Drive the North Rim to Inspiration Point, stopping at Grand View Lookout Point, picnic lunch
Drive South Rim to Artist's Point. Do you think we should drive both sides, or is one enough? And which would you do?
Uncle Tom's Trail hike. We'll leave the youngest 2 with at least one of the grandparents at the top.
Reward ourselves (lol) with ice cream at Canyon Lodge
Dinner at Canyon Lodge Eatery

WEDNESDAY- Mammoth Hot Springs Area
Albright Visitors Center
Hot Springs and Terraces
Forces of the Northern Range Self-Guiding Trail
Wraith Falls hike, picnic lunch
Maybe Yellowstone River Picnic Area Trail?
Boiling River Swimming Area
Dinner at Terrace Grill

THURSDAY- Yellowstone Lake Area
Drive through Hayden Valley
Fishing Bridge and Visitors Center, picnic lunch on beach
Storm Point Trail hike
Maybe Natural Bridge Trail?
Dinner at Lake Hotel Deli
Le Hardy Rapids. I hear there's a small beach to play at. I need more info on the location.
Mud Volcano and Sulphur Cauldron
Watch the sunset and wildlife in Hayden Valley

FRIDAY- Open
Maybe an area we didn't get to do everything, or that we want to see again. Or if there's something the grandparents wanted to do. Do you have suggestions?

SATURDAY- Depart
Stop at Shoshone Falls?, though I've been told that after Yellowstone, it isn't very impressive
