I'm sure that between Xanterra, NPS, Delaware Stores, and all the gateway communities and individual businesses, millions are spent on promoting travel to Yellowstone, Jackson-Tetons, etc. In Chicago the State of Montana actually advertised on buses and trains - ironically, with photos of attractions like Grand Prismatic Spring (seriously). Given that the word is out here and abroad, those millions ought to be re-directed to improving infrastructure and increasing visitation might plateau or even decrease, especially when China opens its new national park system. It's in the works, and it's a big, magnificent, varied country doubtless with some amazing wonders of its own. I don't think gateway and park revenues would be much damaged, given that you have to make reservations a year in advance as it is.
