Using ammo to start campfire

Hi fellow Yellowstoners,

I'll be backpacking through Yellowstone this winter!

Aside from Jack Daniels and Cottonelle wipes, I carry lots of ammunition.

Never know when you'll run across a "wild" animal and need to show who's at the top of the
pyramid.

anyway, is there a way to strike a 12 gauge shell and get a controlled spark to light a camp
fire?

I could hold it in a vice-grip and chip it with a screwdriver.

anyhow, see you soon, I'll be the one with the camper that says Welcome to Heal as I am a
therapeutic massage therapist with my own business I take clients anywhere.
