Taken from hillside to east of Midway Geyser Basin (Midway Bluff) with path leadng upward from a pullout on main road. Excelsior Geyser quit erupting in 1890 but puts out over 4,000 gallons of water per minute. Grand Prismatic Spring is 370 feet wide.
