We decided the time was right to go beyond Trout Lake to see if we could find the next one up, Buck Lake. We followed the trail past the inlet, up and over the next hill. The territory is truly beautiful and the hiking is easy. In no time, we were overlooking Buck Lake. It's another hidden gem of Yellowstone.
