Have you hiked to Fairy Falls and the back-country geysers beyond? Trout Lake and Buck Lake? Slough Creek to First Meadow? The Top of Bunsen Peak? How about to the Hellroaring Creek confluence with the Yellowstone River? These are all relatively easy hikes, 6 miles or less round trip, and are wonderfully rewarding. Some are easy and flat, some are a little more strenuous, all require bear-awareness.

Side trips: Beartooth Highway, Chief Joseph Highway, Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, a hot spring-fed soak followed by a great dinner at Chico Hot Springs in Pray Montana. Best side trip of all, if you haven't been there, Grand Teton National Park.

Tell us what you like and we can be more helpful, I think!
