Alaska - Yellowstone

Hi everyone. I missed out on a trip to Yellowstone this year :( Being up here in Alaska has it's perks but being away from Yellowstone is one of the drawbacks. No 5 hour trips up I-15 from Utah :(

It is very interesting to see how similar the weather patterns in Alaska and Yellowstone really are. We are running in the 50's here in Palmer right now with snow on the mountains. Things are absolutely gorgeous with the gold leaves on the birches and aspens intermingled with the green of the spruces.

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I'm alive and well. Finishing up my last semester of nurse practitioner school so hopefully things will become a little less hectic and provide an opportunity to make it to the Stone next summer.
