Norm,
It definitely looks like a "prototype".
I'm thinking that if someone can copyright the "Happy Birthday" song, and charge royalties, we should copyright Liberty Cap, buy a luxury motor home, and cruise the country, collecting royalties from everyone displaying a gnome in their yard.
On a more serious note, I very much enjoyed seeing your photos. You got some real winners! I'm a big fan of sunrise and sunset shots, and you got some great ones. Back in the early 1980s, I was a Junior Achievement advisor, and the team I was coaching decided to "manufacture" and market pine cones soaked in certain chemicals that produced colorful flames when burned in a fireplace. I don't know which chemicals were used. I was on the marketing side of the business, but I'll bet some copper compound was one of the ingredients. There was likely some sulfurous compound as well.
Thanks for taking the time to share those shots.
