Back in 2011 its schedule was impractical for any of the car-less employees at Lake to use it to get to other sections of the park, visit with their friends, and get back to Lake same day. Maybe the employees didn't want to shell out the $25 in-park charge either. The shuttle would come by the Lodge and Hotel each day, with no one using it. Neither could the employees use it to make a day trip to Cody or Bozeman. We had few requests from visitors to use it. The Xanterra tour buses could be used for a point to point ride on rare occasions but it was complicated to book and usually didn't fit the visitor's schedule. Maybe Linx improved their routing and time scheduling the last few years if ridership picked up, but I do see a real challenge to make it work in the large area they have to travel.
