Just saw the links coming to my blog from this site. Thanks for the link!

I got that collar report of #760 from several different people at the same time. I asked the most informed person I know about the bear. #760 was one of three bears raised by #610. Until they release DNA information, about the best you can say is it's birth mother was either 610 or 399. 399 originally emerged from the den with three. 601 emerged with two. Somewhere along the way, one of 399's cubs ended up with 610. 610 kicked them away last year and showed up with a new COY this year.

Mike Cavaroc also has photos of a bear he calls 760 on his page.

I have a few photos of 760 on my blog page in April. He has newer, larger yellow ear tags to go along with his new collar.

I believe I complaining about the park service getting carried away with tags and collars lately. One of the owls on the Moose Wilson road has big leg bracelets with 3P on at least one of them.
