If you are spending time in GTNP, you might want to check out this page. The post is intended on explaining the current enforcement of the current laws in the Park and also along the highway between Moran and Dubois (over Togwotee Pass)

The major differing feature in GTNP is the part telling people they cannot take photos out of their vehicle window if they are within the 100 yard zone including taking photos from a sun roof while inside the vehicle.

The page has the actual rule from the Compendium, along with a link to an old Craighead video showing a big Grizzly waking up from sedation too soon and crashing into their vehicle. You'll definitely want to watch it!
