There is a Yellowstone Park Foundation and evidently a National Park Foundation. I can't find a connection between the two. Are they completely separate? I read this as Yellowstone Superintendent Wenk is going to work temporarily at the National Park Foundation, which seems to be involved in all national parks.
Lodging at Yellowstone tries to collect $1 per night for the Yellowstone Park Foundation, which as I understand goes for Yellowstone only projects. Many visitors get the Yellowstone Park Foundation and Yellowstone Assn. mixed up. Was the rumored merger possibly between these two?
