Steve,

With your help, I finally realize this was taken on the off-trail wander with Skeets, when we decided to check out the Sylvan Springs, south of Norris, and on the opposite side of the road from the Artist Paint Pots. That was EPIC! After wading the Gibbon River, we had an easy walk across Gibbon Meadows. I'm guessing this photo was taken somewhere in that new growth we had to navigate at the distant end of the meadows. I have some bittersweet memories of log walking and pushing through webs of young lodgepole branches. I remember finally reaching the other end of the maze, only to find Skeets with his video camera trained on me as I emerged from that "pine jungle".

Speaking of Skeets, I'm wondering if that was the same day he lost his jeans at the pullout downriver. That was pretty hilarious!
