Usually Memorial Day weekend is a great weekend to visit the park. We have seen all different types of weather from warm tee shirt to winter conditions. If you come prepared for both, you will not be surprised. Most of the time, the weather has been nice for visiting.

All the areas in the park will be open for visitors except for the road from Canyon over Dunraven Pass to Tower Falls.

Be mindful that there is really bad road construction from Norris for seven miles north. Slow going, a lot of traffic, and buffalo, and muddy dirt roads in sections.

Most folks who want to see bears and wolves along with other wildlife visit the northern area of the park. That would be from Mammoth Hot Springs to the Northeast Entrance with most viewing from Tower to Lamar Valley.

Geyser areas from Old Faithful to Norris and scenic rivers and water falls from Canyon to Lake.

I hope that helps some and have a great trip!
