Thanks for confirming my hunch about Xanterra. The rep on the phone was fabulous, but I realize after I hung up that I may have been unwittingly sold on somethings.

I appreciate the idea of more hiking in the Tetons. We had originally planned to stay there longer than YNP for that reason, but I couldn't resist more time in YNP...

All of your suggestions are fabulous. I'm cutting and pasting into my own new "guidebook." Thank you!
