This is a piece of news that has been flying below the radar, but made the national news recently.

I was surprised to see how much organized support there is for this campaign.

(I'm sure there are a few folks who might be tempted to comment on how Congress doesn't seem able to get anything of great importance accomplished, yet they can move on something like this. I saw the article's NPR web coverage, and the comments section is crowded with political discussion that gets way raunchy.)

Anyway, it's good news for bison, providing the Senate and the President sign off on this action.
