Pronghorns cannot compete with wolves for viewer ratings. This photo doesn't really show the extent of the crowds set up to scope the Prospect Peak Pack double-litter of pups about a mile across Slough Creek from the road.

It seems to me that pronghorns used to be much more shy than they are now. And they're very abundant in the Northern Range, in part due to the work of several organizations to remove or modify fences to make them pronghorn-friendly in the corridors prongies migrate through to lower ground in the winter. One example is Paradise Valley where it is now possible to see large herds grazing in the stubble fields in late fall-winter-early spring.
