Folks we know fared well in the annual Yellowstone Forever photo contest. Steve Hinch took second place in Wildlife: Professional, and had a few other photos make the Top 100. Kristine Branstatter (Yellowstonegirl) got third place in Landscape: Amateur. Bruce Gourley of yellowstone.net had a photo make the Top 100.
The link will take you to a page where you can see the top 3 in each category, but it is really worth triggering the video that includes all of the Top 100.
There were over 11,000 submissions.
I think I can honestly say that I don't think I have taken a single photo that would be competitive with any in the Top 100, but it doesn't mean I will quit trying. These photos are quite inspirational.
