Daylight savings time ended overnight last night. This morning (Sunday, November 4) we fell back an hour. In other words, yesterday right now would have been 9:46 but as I write it is 8:46 A.M. at Old Faithful.

You can verify the time on the Old Faithful static webcam, which updates every few minutes: https://www.nps.gov/webcams-yell/oldfaithvc.jpg?20143142190

Having said that, the road to Old Faithful will close for private vehicular traffic tomorrow - Monday, November 5 - at 8:00 A.M. (See link).

You can still drive into the park from North Entrance (via Gardiner, MT) through to Northeast Entrance, assuming road conditions are safe. You will be able to visit Mammoth Hot Springs but not Old Faithful.

When the park opens for over-snow travel, expected to be December 15 this year, you can get to Old Faithful by snow coach or snow mobile out of Jackson Hole, West Yellowstone, or Gardiner, MT.
