I'm not on Facebook so thanks for posting the link to George's open letter. I've met George twice at Roosevelt Rendezvous programs. He is one of the many fine and dedicated people who made the Yellowstone Institute programs so very special.
It is heartbreaking to see what personal and career devastation that the previous leadership of YF has caused to so many Institute staff and associates.
While I respect Ballpark Frank's perspective on the situation (noted below) I will wait until I see who they have hired as CEO and what steps are taken to purge the board and create financial accountability and transparency before I further judge Sholly's decision.
While it may not rise to a level of criminality that can be prosecuted, what happened was certainly morally criminal.
