I heard or read somewhere that the entirety of the structures that burned were either all owned by the same person, or at least, the ground under them was all owned by the same person.
I have not heard a thing about the ultimate plan. I get the Gardiner Chamber newsletter every Wednesday, and I have not seen any intel in that publication.
I wonder if the fellow who owns the Sinclair station outside town and the lot where the old Sinclair was located, as well as the Conoco, which he purchased recently, might be the land owner. Whoever he is, he seems to be quite the stakeholder in the local economy. I suspect he may have owned the land under the Raven Grille, formerly the Town Cafe, which was razed not that long after the old Sinclair disappeared in a cloud of dust. I've been wondering what the destiny is for that way valuable piece of real estate. This guy has to have or have access to a lot of capital, given how much he invested in the new Sinclair.
