Flickr, where I post my photos to get a link for showing photos here has suddenly changed my ability to get a URL ending in .jpg to post here. I think I have a workaround, but if this image doesn't show, that's the end of sharing for me.

This is the cone of Lone Star Geyser, a lovely, active back-country geyser that is so-named because it appears to stand alone; in fact there are several other active, but much smaller, thermal vents and pools surrounding it.

Lone Star is a beautiful, easy walk along the Firehole River of about 2.5 miles each way, a highly recommended hike!
