Well, they're two snuggling fledgling great horned owlets, one spruce tree over from their mother in the cottonwood.

These two had to be able to fly pretty well to get to this spot from their nest. Once they can do that, they don't stick around long. It was great to see them before they flew the coop, which by now they've surely done.
