In January I had some minor-ish foot surgery but it, and the thing it was supposed to fix, held me back from hiking for quite a long time. While the foot is by no means ship-shape, and never will be like it was 10 years ago, this summer I was very happy to be able to "summit" not only Mystic Falls Overlook, but also Trout Lake, for the first time in two years I think.

Always and ever beautiful Trout Lake.
