AVALANCHE DANGER In the southern Madisons, southern Gallatins, and Lionhead area, the avalanche danger is rated CONSIDERABLE on all slopes steeper than 35 degrees. Less steep slopes have a MODERATE danger. All slopes in the Cooke City area and the Washburn range have a MODERATE danger.
